USER AGREEMENT
I agree and undertake that Akbank is not legally and financially liable for keeping confidential any information that I have provided verbally or in writing during the application and the subsequent stages for the purpose of evaluation of my products, ideas and designs via this platform, and that I give my consent to sharing of the relevant information with Akbank employees and 3rd parties from whom Akbank procures services so as to perform the said evaluation, that I irrevocably waive from any right of action, defense and objection including the right to claim damages in connection with the information I have given. This written consent shall apply to any transactions that I have performed or I will perform at this platform in the future.
In the event that Akbank requests additional information for the purpose of evaluating my products, ideas and designs that I have transmitted via this platform, I agree, declare and undertake that I shall submit such information and documentation in 3 (three) business days unless another period of time is specified by Akbank. I agree and undertake to keep any information confidential provided by Akbank for the purpose of evaluating my products, ideas and designs that I have transmitted via this platform, to take all necessary measures and to take due care in order to guarantee and maintain confidentiality.
I declare that I have personally produced/developed any right/product [including, but not limited to, design, codes of design and database and/or computer systems (source/executive code), source codes for software and documentation] that can be considered a work of art within the meaning of Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works or that falls within the scope of the Industrial Property Law, and any right pertaining thereto belongs to me, and I agree, declare and undertake that I have transferred the right to Process, Duplicate, Disseminate and Communicate to the Public through means which are used to Transmit Signals, Voice and/or Video to AKBANK perpetually, free of charge and with worldwide validity, and that I will not raise any financial right against AKBANK, and I grant an exclusive license in terms of licensed products and rights.
I declare and undertake that I have exclusive and independent rights on products, ideas and designs that I have transmitted via this platform; and that this information is true and lawful, and I have the right to disclose this information without a limitation. In the event that any third real or legal entities allege or raise a claim against AKBANK that that products/ideas and designs that I have transmitted via this platform violate their intellectual rights, confidential business information or any other property right, I irrevocably agree, declare and undertake that I shall undertake the defense regarding said allegations and claims, that I shall bear all costs incurred by AKBANK for such allegations and claims upon the first demand, and I shall immediately pay all kinds of pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages and collateral damages AKBANK may incur in the event that an unfavorable verdict is rendered.
INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We, Akbank T.A.Ş. (the “Bank"), act as the Data Controller during the protection, processing and transfer of your personal data in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 ("LPPD") and the principle of privacy and personal life and protection of individuals' fundamental rights and liberties, and we take necessary measures.
We, Akbank, may process your personal data for AKBANK LAB and reasons related to intended use of such medium the purposes of use of such medium (purposes such as collecting and evaluating information regarding your products, services, projects and ideas).
Your personal data is digitally collected through automated means via www.akbanklab.com.

Pursuant to the provisions of the LPPD, you can use the following rights by applying to our Bank:
To learn whether or not your personal data is processed;
To request information if their personal data has been processed,
To find out the reason for processing of your personal data and whether it had been used properly for this purpose;
To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
To request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any,
To request the erasure or destruction of personal data,
To request that the third parties to whom personal data have been transferred be notified of the actions regarding the correction, erasure or destruction of personal data,
To object to the processing, exclusively by automatic means, of personal data, which leads to an unfavorable consequence for the data subject,
To request compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
The requests submitted in this framework shall be concluded by our Bank free of charge within no later than thirty days.
Our Bank is required to retain records and documents related to the transactions carried out by it for a certain period of time within the scope of legal regulations; if you require your personal data to be deleted or destroyed or anonymized, your request may be fulfilled at the end of the period determined by the legal arrangements; however, your personal data will not be processed and will not be shared with 3rd parties during that period of time unless it becomes necessary due to national and international legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
If you wish to contact us, give feedback or address your questions within the scope of the LPPD, you can send your petition containing your request and documents and to our branches at Sabancı Center 34330 4.Levent / Beşiktaş - Istanbul, send the same via notary public or e-mail it to akbank@akbank.hs03.kep.tr with secure electronic signature. Also, you may send your applications in writing through our branches and direct channels.
